And the winner is…
Can you believe it? The National Sewing Month 2014 Grand Prize Giveaway is finally closed. It’s been quite a ride, hasn’t it? From beginning to end we’ve had unbelievable projects from bloggers and companies alike (If you’re like, “What projects are you talking about, Seams and Scissors?” please see here.)
Throughout the month readers could comment on daily blog posts to win an awesome prize as well as enter to win our National Sewing Month 2014 Grand Prize Giveaway. Made up of prizes from esteemed companies that included BERNINA, American Quilter’s Society, Simplicity Creative Group, Sizzix, Fairfield, and Coats & Clark, this huge package totaled a value of $2000.
(In case you’re wondering, yes it is extremely hard to work in an office surrounded by quality crafting products and not be eligible to enter the contest.)
So, who won this treasure trove? Please give a big congratulations to…
JUST KIDDING. That was horrible. The winner is Debra de Shazor!
Congratulations, Debra! We are extremely happy that you won the National Sewing Month 2014 Grand Prize Giveaway (as well as slightly envious)! Please expect to hear from us via email and we will explain how all of your prizes will reach you.
We want to thank all of you for participating in our National Sewing Month celebration all month long. Your comments and support were all read and extremely appreciated by the editors of Seams and Scissors, AllFreeSewing, and FaveQuilts! Please keep visiting us and leaving your thoughts, questions, and ideas! We’re building a community here!
With the close of National Sewing Month 2014 we are feeling pretty bummed. What will occupy us now?
Silly geese, here at Seams and Scissors there’s always a party going on. To keep our spirits up after the blissful merrymaking of every sewist’s favorite month, we’re celebrating October with our Hands-on-Heart Breast Cancer Pillow Drive! Now this is something to get excited about. Details are all here.
But before we do we’ve got to know (because this is how we think),
Does a “Grand Prize” have to include a sewing machine?
