9 Birdie Baby Quilt Tutorial
1 Birdie Charm Pack (click here to purchase)
1 Yard coordinating fabric.
(backing and binding 1.5 yards coordinating fabric.)
Randomly sew charm squares into 12 strips of three.
Sew those strips of three together creating 4 nine patch blocks.
Cut all four nine patch blocks into fourths.
From your coordinating sashing material cut 5 – 1.5″x width strips.
Using the 1.5 inch strips sash your blocks.
Sew the blocks back together as shown below.
From your remaining sashing material cut border fabric 5″ wide. Attach borders as show in picture below.
From the leftover charm squares cut out and applique using a blanket stitch four flowers.
We liked the two flowers in one corner.
Quilt, bind and enjoy!
