What’s Your Sign? 12 Chinese New Year Quilt Patterns

February 8, 2016 by Seams and Scissors Leave a Comment

In case you haven’t heard, today is Chinese New Year. The Chinese have traditionally celebrated their new year according to the lunar calendar which is why their new year usually falls in late January or early February. They also do their zodiac a little differently – instead of being based on the month you were born in, the Chinese zodiac goes by the year!

Do you know what your Chinese zodiac sign is? Below we have the years for each sign so you can find yours! You’ll learn a little bit about your personality, and then you can make the traditional free quilt pattern that goes with each sign. (Okay, so maybe the quilt patterns are OUR addition to the mix, but hey, they’re fun!)
