13 Christmas Quilts to Start Working On Now

October 23, 2019 by FaveQuilts Leave a Comment

The weather outside may not yet be frightful, but anyone in the Midwest knows what’s just around the corner. Winters in the snowy center of the United States can get pretty brutal—between wind and sleet and snow, it feels like the elements are always against us. I absolutely hate going out in the cold if I don’t have to, so around this time of year I always start looking for some seasonal crafts to keep me busy AND inside!

Of course, the holiday season is practically here already, so why not use the chilly weather as an excuse to get to work on some easy quilt patterns? These Christmas quilts make for great sewing projects to occupy your time, and in the end you’ll have a gorgeous quilt just in time for the holidays. A quilt makes for a memorable gift to friends or loved ones, but they also serve as great home decor during the holiday season. And when it’s that cold outside, you can never have enough blankets around the house.
