Snowy Style: Free Dress Patterns for Winter

December 21, 2019 by AllFreeSewing

I definitely could define my style as being a bit on the feminine side. Frills, lace, florals—you name it—I‘ve probably worn it at some point this week. So I’m always bummed out each year when winter rolls around and suddenly it’s too cold to wear anything except the chunkiest sweater you can find and a giant scarf—cozy is great, but sometimes I still want to dress up a little, and I’m usually in denial about the versatility of my sundresses until I learn the hard way that it’s just too darn cold for them.

Winter doesn’t mean that you have to bid the dress adieu until March, however. Dresses can be warm and stylish at the same time, especially with a few key accessories such as sweater tights or leggings! I’ve found 14 of our best free dress patterns that would look right at home in the middle of winter. Work them up and wear them out—your friends will be jealous of your cold-weather chic!
