Homemade Hanukkah: The Top 7

November 10, 2014 by AllFreeSewing 1 Comment

With the season of winter fast approaching, it’s only right to start thinking about the holidays. While a lot of people may think of Christmas, there are also a lot who celebrate the holiday Hanukkah. Today, we decided to give them some much-needed recognition by providing you with the best Hanukkah sewing projects we could find.

Jewish Holiday Projects

Sometimes projects and crafts for Hanukkah can be hard to come across, especially ones that are free, useful, doable, and easy enough for the kids, too. Most of these projects you can do alone or with the help of your kids, especially if you want to get them more involved in the celebrations and show them what Hanukkah is all about.

Whip up a dreidel plushie for them to hold at night and play with during the day, or a bag to hold all of the pieces to their actual dreidel game. Either way, the seasons are about giving and loving each other. Show your love this season with one of these fun sewing patterns that will impress your family and friends.

What’s your favorite Hanukkah tradition?

I tell myself the same exact thing, as soon as I wake up every miornng. My tai chi/kung-fu/meditation training has helped me deal with the everyday struggles, especially towards the end of the year. Great post and enjoy your time with your family.:))jonwatersauthor.wordpress.com
