How to Sew Quilts for All Seasons + Giveaway

August 24, 2015 by FaveQuilts 150 Comments

Here we are at the end of August.  School is back in session, apples are starting to ripen, and we are starting to wake up to crisp morning air.  These morning remind me that it’s time to switch out the seasonal quilts I have piled around the house.  From the cheerful summer quilt pattern adorning the back of my couch to the fun quilt on the quest bed – it’s time to change them out for the fall colors that remind me of Autumn leaves and hot cocoa.

FourSeasons

The point is, no matter what time of year it is, there is a quilt somewhere in the house that brings a little bit of the beauty of the seasons outdoors to my home decor.  Here are some of my favorite seasonal patterns from FaveQuilts.com – something about each on reminds me of the season.  Maybe one of them will sing to you, too.  Of course, be sure you make it all the way down to the winter season quilts – they’re my favorite, and there might be a fabulous giveaway down there to celebrate!  🙂

I am completing a quilt that was intended for my daughter-in-laws Grandfather. However, my daughter -in-laws Mother died before she could get started. I intend to give the quilt to my daughter-in-laws Father (it was supposed to for his Father). Thank you
