January 21, 2016 by Seams and Scissors 3 Comments

ORGANIZATION WEEK
Welcome to Day 4 of Organization Week! By now, I hope we’ve put you in the mood to get a little decluttering done. Sometimes, though, the task is just so daunting it’s hard to know where to begin. To get you fired up, I’ve rounded up pics of 5 of the most gorgeous sewing studios out there. Once you see what kinds of spaces are possible, you’ll definitely want to get your own craft room into shape! Scroll down and get inspired!

Heather’s sewing space features soft, sweet colors that perfectly match the mood of her floral designs. We love the ribbon rack hanging under the shelf in the back!

2. The Mouse House

What I love most about this room is that you can get this clean pastel look by simply re-painting some furniture you already have. White walls go a long way towards making the room brighter!

3. Olabelhe

Olabelhe’s studio is super-organized. You can get this look by being sure to put labels on the front of all of your containers – no more wondering which box you put the thimbles in!

4. Tasha Horsley

This is probably my favorite of all of them – I love the combination of mint green and red! By keeping most of the decor color scheme unified, you hardly even notice that the fabric doesn’t all match. And who wants to stick with only a few colors of fabric, anyway?

5. The Cottage Mama

How relaxing is THIS gorgeous studio? Can you imagine sewing in front of those huge windows? I’d probably stay there all day! The Cottage Mama definitely knows what she’s doing.

I am still just seeking a space in my home. I am certain to annoy family members once I lay claim go a space. Amazing how much junk a family can accumulate over the course of time. No, not a bigger house, just organize what I have & downsize the excess. Salvation Army will be seeing a lot more of me pretty soon.

My sewing space is in my bedroom along with all my crafting supplies, I hardly have enough room for my bed but refuse to let any of it go. I need to figure a way to get it all organized.

My sewing space is a narrow table between my bed and the wall. It has a stack of boxes next to it for thread and other necessary stuff. The table is piled with projects that aren’t finished for one reason or another, and some patterns. I need another room for all my sewing stuff! How about a castle? I’d love a space like Cottage Mama has. Thanks for showing us those lovely rooms. How much to those crafters get sewn?
