NSMSewAlong

Hey everyone, Katie from Punk Projects here! Today I’m sharing part three of three for this cute fox tote bag. If you missed them, check out Part 1 and Part 2.

Finishing up

  1. To finish up the tote bag, start by added a finished hem to the top edges of the bag.

step6

2. Place the ears behind the front top edge of the tote bag, about half an inch down, and stitch them in place.

step7

3. Fold the tote bag in half, wrong side out. Pin it and stitch down the long side seams, making sure to leave at least a 1/4 seam allowance.

step8

4. Cut a 1 yard length of ribbon and pin each end to the sides of the tote bag, as pictured below. Stitch them to the tote bag.

step9

Once you’ve stitched on the ribbon strap, you are all done!

I definitely prefer owls. They’re mysterious, big-eyed and snatch up rodents for yummy meals. They’re hooting sound is so cool and they way they turn their head so slowly is fun to watch!

Hard to decide. Owls with their big eyes and ability to turn their heads as much as 270 degrees are beautiful, amazing birds. Foxes are just beautiful animals. So please don’t make me choose.

Since I think in terms of grandkids when I start thinking I would have to say owls for the girls and foxes for the boys…don’t no why just do.
    For me personally…rabbits!

I am crazy about foxes right now. They can be adorable for the little ones and sophisticated for adults and as your totes shows, a basic design has a lot of character.

Wise as an owl or Sly as a Fox? Decisions, decisions. I want to be wise and sly. I have to pick 49% Owl/51% Fox.

I like them both, they are wise and sly, think that we all can be that at different times. But if I had to choose then would be the Fox. I think that they can be pretty.
I have everything crossed in hopes they pick me, but good luck to all. Thank you for such a wonderful give away.

Today my pick would be foxes, but I have seen more owls in real life than foxes – and ultimately they are both fabulous creatures!

hmm, as a motif owls are easier, definitely. however, I’m Japanese American & foxes are considered companions of gods, & guardians of certain temples & shrines. so, I’ll always prefer foxes as a concept. Also, they & I both love fried tofu! lol
