One Color Scrappy Baby Quilt

April 11, 2016 by Seams and Scissors 3 Comments

This baby quilt pattern is the perfect thing when you need a quick baby shower gift! Use up your leftover fabric scraps to make a gift for a newborn. The key to this quilt is choosing fabric scraps in the same color family – even if the patterns don’t match, the colors will bring the whole thing together! A brightly-colored one like the example image would look so cute draped over a new baby’s crib now that the weather’s warming up. The “quilt blocks” are just squares of fabric, so this makes for an easy quilting pattern for beginners, as well! It doesn’t take much time to do, so what are you waiting for?

This is an adorable quilt and in the perfect color. Pink. I would give this quilt to my Niece who is expecting her first baby and the pictures show it to be a little girl. Our family is so excited. Thank you for sharing this and so much more!
