I just came upon your site and am so happy to find it! YES!!! I try to stay cleaned up but productive at the same time “which is hard” because you want to spend all the time sewing; you have to clean up as you go along or will over whelmed with it all each day you don’t clean up and put away. That’s it clean up as you go along and keep your supplies in clear baskets or jars or silverware trays in your drawers to keep things all together. Thank you for letting me share.

The most valuable organization tip i have is to keep the items you use near the space where you use them! How do you figure this out? Easy. While working on a project, are the things you need easy for you to grab abd go? Do you always know where to go to get it? Is cleaning up after a project easy or drudgery? If you can find it, use it, put it up and easily accomplish this, things are in a good spot for you. If it takes forever to “unbury” what you are looking for or to clean up, you need some relocating. Experiment until you find what works for you!

Just do it! All the organizing tips, and tricks don’t do much good if I don’t DO IT…. and keep on doing it! I’m the worst on my own and have to keep reminding myself of this!

I hate to waste even the smallest scraps so make quilts for the preemie babies at the hospital. I might start with a left-over block , then add rows log-cabin style until the desired size is obtained.
