I love the look of some of the antique treadle machines – flat black with gold leaf. I don’t know if I’d like the same combo on a modern machine? Kind of sort of maybe? Yep, that’s my answer. Some had bright cloisonne style decorations too, but I can live without that.
Sewing machine colors don’t really call to me, but if I had to pick, I think I’d pick seafoam green I think having a white machine helps when you’re using colors in your project and a colored machine might interfere visually
Eggplant purple would be fun!
I guess yellow or royal blue would be wonderful. I really never thought of it before now.
I’d like a sewing machine that was Aqua!
I would go with a lavender sewing machine.
Bright Yellow or orange!
Definitely white. Thanks!
My sewing machine now is white, but I saw an aqua blue color machine once. That would be a great color to have.
Teal would be my color of choice, but I would also add a large flaming decal to my hot machine!
I would love a sewing machine in the sea blue color I see out of my sewing room window everyday. And hopefully one that changes with the sky to become dark and deep or clear and sparkly. Oh, now sparkly, that’s a thought!
I really would prefer an off white for my machine, I don’t need any more distractions 🙂
Red is my favorite color so if I could choose a color it would be red
I would love to own a sewing machine in Hot Pink or Sapphire Blue.
Robin egg blue or lilac
A beige or off white would be the best color for me, I prefer to have a neutral base for my sewing. I love color but don’t want it to interfere or distract from my fabric, can you tell I’m easily distracted, oh look, another another pattern!
I like the idea of a white sewing machine with accents of aqua or teal. Maybe done in a cute pattern.
purple
If I had to display my sewing machine, I think turquois would be an eye catcher. Since I don’t, I like the plain white.
Think I would want a white or off white for sewing different colors and also think it would fit in better in my laundry/craft room. Especially if I changed room colors.
My favorite color is blue! But… I really don’t care what color it is because whatever I get will be better than the 2 machines that I have now.
Purple…most definitely purple!
I would want it to either be white or ivory. No matter what color the room is
it won’t clash!!
I would love to have a sewing machine in dandelion yellow. I’ve seen machines in lots of different colors on Pinterest but never in yellow.
I think red would be a good color. Red is an exciting color to get your blood pumping and ready to dive into a new project!
Got to be Cardinal RED !
dark tomato red
I have to go with a purple color. Thanks for the giveaway.
Honestly I’d be happy with a white sewing machine but my favorite color is royal blue. The simple white sewing machine reminds me of my great grandmother and I have such wonderful memories of her always being on it making stuff for her absolutely favorite doll or fixing her pants because she would gain weight from eating sweet bread but shhh no one is supposed to know that lol she had a secret stash of sweets, she was diabetic. But she made me a few skirts that I still have til this day never going to give them up.
I would like my machine to be hot pink, it would glow
Color isn’t important. To have a sewing machine in any color would be awesome!!
Red-for diabetes which affect your eye sight.
I would love to have a Robin’s Egg Blue sewing machine!
I think having one in pink would be soooo fun
A sage/avocado green color like from the ’50s/’60s with shiny chrome trim, probably in a retro shape.
I love both red and blue …. So red ,white and blue would be awesome !
Any color would be great, this is a fantastic machine and looks like it would make any project easy to complete and look professional.
I love the red Singer Featherweight machines. They are just so colorful, but I am not picky. The color of a good machine is not what is as important as the quality of the machine itself.
Pink and white zebra print would be awesome!
Black or white.
If I could have ANY color machine it would be blue, it is my tranquil color!
I would love to win one , any color
I would love to have a pale green 🙂
I would like hot pink…I need to stand out from the crowd somewhere in my life even if it is at home.
If I could get any color of a sewing machine, definitely will be metallic purple! Because it’s the most chic color you could ever ask for!
Pink would be a color I’d go for, but as already stated color doesn’t make the machine, quality does.
Candy apple red.
I am in desperate need of a sewing machine. I would take any colour, but would love one the colour of a Creamsicle! 🙂
I think a classic Black or a Country Blue would be nice.
I would have a lime green sewing machine!
I would love a RED machine so everybody would notice it.
Light Pink..I would love pink star on my sewing machine
I have always had a white sewing machine, but it would be very nice to have a blue one since its my favorite color.
I would choose a sea glass green color.
I like white or off-white so the machine color doesn’t affect what I’m sewing. Sometimes reflected light can change perceptions of color!
I would love to win a Candy Apple Sparkling Red machine. My current machine is a green/gray Sears machine with drop in cassettes, that is about 40 yrs old! Runs OK but, man they have great features these days, or ” so i hear”.
My all time favorite color is purple. It all so most of the girls in my family favorite color. So I would have to go with that. I would love to have a new sewing machine every time I have gotten a new one some one decides too break into my house and steal it. The last one that I had that was brand new my brother and his ex wife stoled it that was like 30 years ago. since then they have just been used ones that I have bought.
I would love a dark burg and with gold lettering. My second choice would be a light lavender with black lettering. Color doesn’t really matter as long as the machine has good lighting for tired eyes.
I think it would be fun to have a periwinkle blue machine.
Would love to have a black onyx sewing machine. Very cool.
Never thought about a coloured machine before, how exciting! Maybe an old fashioned black, with gold accents, but then I think being able to see the seam gauge might be difficult. How about almond? Green? Hot pink or eggplant?!?
The color of the sewing machine is completely unimportant to me. The important thing would be winning a wonderful Bernina sewing machine! What more could you ask for?
A pink one. My mom had a pink one (after she traded in a black one), and I just love pink.
Lavender would be my color of choice. It would really get me inspired to create beautiful projects I’d have lavender scented potpourri beside it.
I have always had white machines. and I love my 440 QE machine. However, I was first introduced to sewing by sitting on the treadle of Mothers’ Singer. So Black and Gold would appeal to me.
I would like a sewing machine that was camo. Not really concerned with the color – pink, purple or flaming orange.
I prefer a white machine. Visually easier when using lots of colors.
I think white so it wouldn’t distract from the fabric I was sewing.
Blue! That’s my favorite color!
I would love to have a sewing machine in pink polka dots! I think it would be awesome! Thanks so much!

I would LOVE a purple machine!
Would love a pink one.
I love blue…… but would prefer beige or black to replace my 40 year old Pfaff which is dying a slow death from being used so much.
I love blue…. but would prefer beige or black. to replace my slowly dying 40 year old Pfaff.
I would love a Bernina sewing machine in any color. The machine is what is important to me. A friend has one and does such cool things with it, it makes me think I can as well !
“Old Fashion”… Although Kelly green has always been my favorite color, I am old fashioned when it comes to a sewing machine. I would have to say white or black. When sewing with beautiful colored and printed fabrics I believe it would be much easier to sew them if the sewing machine color was more neutral.
Teal would be my choice of machine color.
color doesn’t matter…..this machine looks awesome in any color……:)
I think it would be cool to have a lavender color.
I would love to win the sewing machine, Thanks for sharing.
I would love light blue!
I would be happy with any color seeing machine honestly, but I think a pink or Tiffany blue color would be really cut!
Can beggars be choosers? I would not bargain ! Any color would do. Its the machine that matters, not the color.
If i could win a sewing machine I would like the color to be violet. Both of my granddaughters are young. I would like a color that would peek their interest .So maybe one day they would be able to sit down with their mema and learn to sew . From someone who could patiently teach them the love of handmade projects like mine did.
Je voudrais une superbe machine Bernina pour le pro.
J’ai tellement de rêves de couture en tête.
Sur une machine de rêves ce serait tellement plus cool
La couleur n’a pas d’importance , c’est la machine qui est importante pour moi!
I think color would distract you when sewing…..I love the old black machines..so I guess black would be my pick….
Logic would say white because it would be easier to see various colors of thread against it, but my fun side says purple or even some kind of floral pattern to make life more interesting. I suppose if you’re working on a big project having a colorful sewing machine would be nice.
I would be a red and gold sewing machine. I would want to be bold and stand out.
J’hésite entre chocolat et beige, pour etre assortie a mon atelier, noir et or, pour le coté chic, ou parme pour le coté fun.
I actually love sewing machines in the white they come in. The color makes it very easy to see what you are sewing and are easy to clean. I guess I am old enough that I don’t like change in some things. I think I would get tired of a fashion color very quickly, so again, keep it white.
Red. If I could have a sewing machine in any color, it would be red. (with a really good light on it)
The little Singer Featherweights now come in such gorgeous colors, but any color machine is good if it’s a machine that is easy to use.
I would want a teal sewing machine – it would go so perfectly in my craft room! Thank you for the chance to win.
Ive never thought about a colorful machine, but if i could choose, I’d say Lavendar.
I like white, but for a color probably red, or burnt orange – Fall colors! Just wonder how a different color would effect the sewing (looking at the color reflection on the fabric).
If I could have a sewing machine in any color it would be candy apple red with my initials in gold on the side!
Pristine white
Turquoise or deep purple. something with some POP!
red red red red red red……….I love red…..Can you tell?????
A nice and bright purple!
mornin all! being an avid motorcycle rider, I love Orange, however in my own lil world also, pink is my second favorite color.. I think a cool pink n orange “mean” machine would be absolutely to drool for… oh, of course it would have to have “bling” too.. G’day to U!
I like turquoise and black color,
Red and black
Winning the BERNINA sewing machine would be the best thing I have ever won! It look fabulous!
I think purple!!
I really don’t care about the color of my sewing machine. I just would love to have a machine with all the bells and whistles – and it could be a beautiful sky blue color. That would be perfect!
I am the mom of 3 boy’s, the grandmother of 2 boy’s, and the great grandmother of 1 girl and 2 boy’s. I would like a sewing machine in any shade of blue, to celebrate having so many wonderful boy’s in the family. Having children to sew for is so wonderful and having a good machine would be wonderful.
I would love to have a sewing machine with a stainless steel look.
Any color? Maybe bright royal blue!
Irridescent peacock blue
I would love a pink or purple machine.
