My favorite type of fabric is a quality cotton fabric. I love the feel and working with it is a dream!

I like a lot of fabrics. I like to sew with cotton and linen but I love how the soft drapey dress fabrics feel like silks and rayon.
I love quilting cottons too! My favorite sewing fabric is rayon for tops, skirts and pajamas.

I am a fabricaholic and love all kinds of fabric lol My husband can attest to that.. Since I do a lot of machine applique I tend to use a lot of fabrics that are tightly woven such as fleece. cottons, and denim,
I am fairly new to sewing so am sticking to cottons and poly cottons at present as they are easy to work with.
100% cotton, easy to sew on, wash, iron and dry.
I love quilting cottons but this time of year I can gravitate towards flannel.

It depends what I am making, but for quilting, I prefer a high quality cotton.

My favorite kind of material to sew with is whatever I can afford at the time of my projects.Whatever I have is the best because I sew for my grandbabies. So whatever makes them happy is the best.

My favorite fabric is actually panne velvet. I used to do lots of costume sewing and loved the rich feel of those fabrics. Now I love cottons for quilting. Thanks

Good quality cotton is my favorite since most of my sewing is quilts. I also like flowy fabrics, linen, and other nice fabrics for clothing.

Since I do mostly quilting I love good cotton, but I also like working with flannel.

I had only used cotton to do quilts until recently and made one out of flannel and it feels and looks great
Being a quilter, my heart and hands love working with wonderful and beautiful cotton fabrics. There are so many wonderful lines of fabrics out there to choose from and it’s a joy to start beginning to plan a new quilt with all of today’s dreamy cottons.
My favorite fabrics are natural fabrics that breathe.

I love flannel, nothing is better for warmth and comfort. Especially curled up in a flannel quilt on a cold winters night.
Cotton at the moment. I do a lot of quilting. My second is knits, but I broke my serger that I had just gotten fixed and so I am back to a straight stitch machine sewing/quilting for a while.
I prefer using cotton in all of my quilts. I also enjoy incorporating material from gently worn clothing into my projects.

I love so many types of fabrics…as my stash will show! But I work with quilting- quality cottons most of the time for items I sell and give as gifts…so I’d have to say cottons are my #1 choice to work with. And thanks for this great giveaway opportunity!

I love cotton, and wool for skirts. Wool is absolutely beautiful to sew with.
My favorite is good guality cotton fabric. I am a quilter and the fabric is very important for the results I want.
I mostly use cotton fabric because I make quits and quilted purses.
